There are lots of places you
can go with this one. First there’s the wallpaper. Anita

Monkeys coming in the window suggest the invasion of something
from the unconscious, or it could even be a jibe at creationism.
Anita says, “We are unconscious of our deep connection with
the animals, and we are ignoring their peril. We are
contemptuously unaware of animal consciousness, of their suffering.
You could say that ecologically and psychologically, whatever
you throw out the door comes in the window.”
